SOME WORDS ABOUT US…
Horses have brought us together, horses keep us going. Together with our four legged companions, we have travelled through Europe by foot. Living 24/7 with our horses, sharing daily routines and extraordinary challenges, has deepened our understanding of these powerful creatures.
This time has refined our horse-human-communication and showed us, how far horses are willing to go for us, if they respect us as their friend and leader.
Peer Heerlein
Artist, Craftsman, Horse LoverPeer is an artist, and a craftsman. He loves to create with his hands. Just as much, he likes to connect and communicate with all kinds of two- and four-legged. Being a hoof trimmer, brings those two passions together. Peer has a unique way of connecting with his four-legged clients to make sure they’re as comfortable as possible during the trimm. Oftentimes I have seen him exchange scratches and kisses with horses, that have the reputation of hating /fearing/fighting the farrier. Also he has a passion for liberty work and can teach you all about “energy”. Which in our understanding, is the basic language of communication between horse and human. The body language is part of that, but there is so much more going on underneath the surface, that is worth looking at closely.
Elena Heerlein
Equine Professional, Osteapathist, Horse LoverElena brings together intuition and science. She studied osteopathy (4 years full time ODS, Berlin), a manual therapy which can help with functional problems and pains of all kinds (especially if nothing is really broken, but it hurts anyways). She knows all about anatomy and biomechanics, which is the foundation of the bodywork she offers. But this knowledge also applies to training horses. Elenas goal is to create harmony between horse and rider. Teaching the horse, how to carry the rider in a healthy and elegant way is an important part of it. More over, it is a lot about finding a common language, which will in time become very light and almost invisible.
Starting from 0 or -20, no Problem! Elena has successfully worked with countless traumatized, young and uneducated horses.
